Bush Trackers is a Blue Mountains environmental education initiative designed to connect children and their families with ‘the bush’ and to promote the natural spaces within our local communities as ‘child-friendly’ places.

The inspiration for Bush Trackers came from the Stronger Families Alliance and its vision of creating Child Friendly Communities across the Blue Mountains.

Bush Trackers is currently funded by a NSW Environmental Trust Education grant and supported by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, Blue Mountains Conservation Society, Blue Mountains City Council, Penrith City Council and Hawkesbury City Council.

Bush Trackers celebrates one of the most valuable resources the Blue Mountains has to offer kids and families- NATURE! Surrounded by World Heritage listed National Parks, we want to make it easier for local and visiting families to enjoy our bushland.
